A SHORT HISTORY OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Learning a language is not just studying grammar, watching videos, learning vocabulary and so on. Becoming aware of some historical facts will enable you to understand better the way language is used in context, why some expressions are better than others at some particular situations.
I'm sure you have thought about is more than once... so here you are presented some pieces of history for you to enjoy.

London is a city that traps you the moment you find yourself there. 

Home of a mixed population, its citizens and visitors compose a picture of a rich multicultural place full of history and art. Now think, which is your favourite London landmark?
There might be millions of answers, as many as personal options but to me, there are few buildings which hold so many pieces of British history as the one below.
